2020·502是一个探索我自己在新冠病毒大流行期间的对于时间和空间感知的项目。2020是突然改变了我们生活的一年，而502是我整个2020年在英国全国封锁期间所呆的公寓。
2020·502 is a project I did for expressing my feelings about time and space during the covid-19 pandemic isolation. 2020 is the time that covid-19 suddenly changed our lives, and 502 is the flat that I spent almost the whole 2020 in.
2020年是很奇怪的一年，有的人可能会觉得这是从他们生命中缺少了的一年，每天的日子都在不停地重复，做着同样的事情；再者，人们被要求呆在家里，如果非要外出不可，则需要保持社交距离，他们以前对于空间的感知已经完全破碎了。所有的一切都似乎介于真实和虚幻之间，而这个项目则是想要探索这种矛盾而又复杂的对于时间和空间的感知。
2020 is such a wired year that many people may feel like it is a missing year from their life. Days repeat consistently, and it feels like every day is the same; Moreover, people are asked to stay at home and keep social distance if they have to go outside. The way that people used to feel about the space is totally broken. It feels like everything is just between the real and the unreal. This project explores the contrast and complicated perception of time and space during the lockdown in 2020.
这个项目主要是一个装置，地点在于我在新冠病毒大流行期间所生活的公寓的厨房。我让厨房保持黑暗，将展览空间的地面放满了双层鸡蛋壳，将装置放置其中，让人们踏入这个展览区间，在一种不稳定的感受下，再去体验整个装置。我用三个投影仪从三面向中间的简陋的所谓“装置”投放gif动画，另外一面则放置一个放着记录装置影片的屏幕，让人们从微观的角度再去感受这个装置。
It is mainly an installation in the flat kitchen that I have been living in during the covid-19 pandemic. I keep the kitchen dark and put the egg trays on the floor and make them full of the exhibition area. People can only enter the installation by walking on the egg trays which makes them feel unstable and insecure. Under this feeling, they can begin to walk around the installation. I use three projectors to project different images onto the simple and crude installation from three sides, while I put a screen on the other side to play a video of the installation, in order to offer a different perspective for viewers to see the installation.
在黑暗中，整个装置看上去像是梦境一般，投放的动画在真实与虚幻的空间之中不断地移动；而当投放的影像变成白光，黑暗中的移动的图像则逐渐消失，人们就能看清楚，这其实只是一堆快递盒和鸡蛋拖等很不起眼的日常物品而已。
In the darkness, the whole installation looks like a magical dreamland, with moving images projected onto fictional and real space at regular intervals. While the moving images are gone and white lights are projected onto the installation, viewers can feel that all the magic is gone and they can see the installation is just made up of normal daily objects, such as packing boxes and egg trays.
这是一个在展览中的屏幕上投放的影片，它与投放于装置的图像同步“白天”与“黑夜”的场景。当“黑夜”来临时就会出现滴水的声音，当“白天”来临时，这个声音就消失了。
This is a video played repeatedly on the screen in the real installation. It goes through darkness and white light simultaneously as the installation. What’s more, when it gets dark, the dripping sound is on; and when it gets bright, the sound is gone.
